Brett Lee date with Bengali Actress Raima Sen?
Bollywood cute actress Raima Sen latest movies hot and sexy photos
The Sen sisters are full of praises for each other
Insiders say that initially Riya felt that Raima’s character had greater strength, prominence, and scope as compared to hers, but then she went ahead as her role was challenging too.
Both the sisters are full of praises and admiration for each other. Speaking about her experience of working with Riya, Raima said, “It was nice to watch her do such a complex character. She was so easy and comfortable on the sets and with the director. Everyone pampered her silly! This is the first time I’ve played such a mature character in Rituda’s film. I play the character of a learned and sophisticated woman who holds her own in any situation. It’s quite a contrast from Riya’s character who plays a naïve village belle.”
Riya stated, “Raima pampered me silly on the sets. Right from organizing the best make up vans and acquainting me with the staff in Kolkata, she was always a phone call away and kept everything prepared for me! Sometimes I felt I was treated like a baby, it felt like my first film.”
Raima Sen & Arbaaz Khan paired for PVR films
Releasing this February 6, ‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye’ has an unusual pairing of Raima Sen and Arbaaz Khan. The movie based on extra marital drama has a female director Madhurita.
Talking about her first female director, Arbaaz says, ‘Actually, I already have a female director at home,’ jokes Arbaaz. ‘Malaika thinks she directs my entire life. But seriously, I was very impressed by Madhurita Anand’s mature script about love marriage and adultery. It’s got me and Raima Sen.’
Also starring in a pivotal role is Randeep Hooda, who plays as many as 18 different characters in the film.
Arbaaz also plays the lead with brother Sohail in the home production ‘Kissan’, which Puneet Sira is directing. ‘It’s a rural story and the problems caused by migration. Sohail and I play brothers, and that’s the best part of it… Malaika and I are together though only for an item song in ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. I’m looking forward to doing a full-fledged film with her,’ says Arbaaz.
Raima Sen does it for ‘Maxim’
Soha Ali Khan, Gul Panag, Minissha Lamba, Amrita Rao…. All have done it. Then why not the petite Bong beauty Raima Sen?
So, this time we have the younger Sen sister Raima shed her inhibitions and clothes for the November issue of the famous Men’s magazine Maxim. The actress appears in a sexy makeover with black and white lacy lingerie set.
Raima has already made her presence felt with films like Chokher Bali, ‘Antar Mahal’ or bit parts in big films like ‘Eklavya’, ‘Parineeta’, ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd’ or flops like ‘C Kkompany’, ‘Mukhbir’ and ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’. Currently she has ‘Teen Patti’, ‘Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye’, ‘Sunglass’ and ‘Mumbai Cutting’ on her cards.
The issue has Raima speak about herself saying, “My birthday is on November 7th. I’m a typical Scorpio. Last year the party was at China House, but this year, I’m planning to have it at home. Nothing’s been decided yet. My parents are really cool. The best part is that I won’t have to worry about organising anything as they’ll take care of everything.”
Raima confesses that she has a pretty bad taste in men. When Raima was gifted a lifetime subscription of the mag, a happy Raima said that ‘It might help me understand men better’. Raima finds ex-Bond man Pierce Brosman pretty charming and good-looking. About her ex-love Kunal Kapoor Raima says, “We do talk occasionally, but it’s just that his friend circle is different from mine. And if you want to beat him up, please be my guest”.
‘Sen’sational sisters come together
The gorgeous Sen sisters are coming together for a film for the first time in Rituparno Ghosh’s adaptation of Tagore’s novel Nauka Dubi and they will do some scenes together in the film because Raima Sen feels that the audience would definitely appreciate that.
“There’s no way the audience will accept me and my sister in the same movie without having scenes together. In the original story our characters don’t come together at all. But Riya and I have to come face to face in our first film together.”
Riya and Raima were supposed to come together earlier in Vicky Chopra’s Seasons Greetings. But that didn’t work out. It was an episodic film and they just had a small segment to work in.
Also, Raima who is to be credited for bringing this project together does not want her film to be dubbed in Hindi. She says, “I know how strange it sounds when my Bengali films are dubbed into Hindi. It happened with Anuranan and more recently with Khela. When Pradeep Sarkar went to see Khela he told me he had gone to see a Bengali film. He ended up watching a Hindi film. Rabindranath Tagore’s characters will look very strange talking in Hindi.”
