Aishwarya Rai Bachchan blessed for Colin Firth?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's first appearance at the Oscars proved lucky for Colin Firth who came away with the Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Aishwarya was rooting for Colin Firth who is a dear friend and also a co-star on Last Legion...and sure enough he won an Oscar for Best Actor. Abhishek and Aishwarya are holidaying in the US and both the actors were in LA after Abhishek's Players shoot.

Bollywood's star couple attended the Oscars after The Academy was gracious enough to send her the invite and gave the couple very good floor seats, said a source close to the actress. The Bachchans also went for the All Star Basketball game which was attended by various Hollywood personalities.

2000 girls went gaga over Ranbir

Some 2000 girls went gaga over Ranbir during the shooting of his upcoming film “Rockstar” in Mumbai directed by Imtiaz Ali.

For one of the scenes Ranbir had to walk through a red-light area which required at least 250 girls to scream and chant his screen name in the film “Jordan”, who is a superstar.

But with the news of Ranbir’s shooting going on air some 2000 girls reached the sets and started screaming Ranbir thereby making it difficult for them to shoot.
Seeing this Ranbir approached the girls and promised them that if they screemed his screen name “Jordan” then he will give each one his autograph.

The girls agreed to do so and Ranbir too kept his promise.

Twinkle Khanna is all set to deliver another baby ?

Twinkle Khanna, now better known as Mrs Khiladi, is a star wife. She debuted in the film “Barsaat” opposite Bobby Deol in 1995. In her career as a film star, she had acted with many renowned actors like Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar. Some notable films of her are “Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hain”, “Badshah”, “Mela”. She left her acting career in 2001, her last film was “Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega”. After marrying Akshay Kumar, Twinkle took up interior designing.

Actress Vidya Balan is on a new agenda these days. She is busy planning strategies to avoid interaction with the media. According to sources from the industry, Vidya is trying hard to minimize her interaction with media ever since her Goa pictures with UTV's Siddharth Roy Kapur have made their way to newspapers.

We also hear that in all the recent events that the actress has attended, she hasn't spent much time giving bytes to avoid being asked the inevitable question that would follow. While it's speculated that the actress doesn't want to commit and confirm anything about her relationship status, sources in the industry also feel that Siddharth, who is in the middle of divorce proceedings with first wife, has asked Vidya to keep mum.

A source revealed, "Siddharth has asked Vidya to not talk to the media as confirmation about their relationship and marriage plans may affect the divorce proceedings. Vidya is just obliging by going low on her media communication."

Another source reveals that nowadays when she is contacted by journalists, the Ishqiya seductress cuts a sorry figure saying that she is keeping unwell and won't be able to talk or comment. Well, all we can do is just wait for Vidya to come out in the open and declare her love.

No steamy sequence between Salman-Asin in Ready: Anees Bazmee

Director Anees Bazmee has denied rumours that his forthcoming film 'Ready' includes a steamy sequence between leading stars Salman Khan and Asin. "I don't know where these rumours came from. There is no steamy sequence between Salman and Asin in 'Ready'," said Bazmee.

The director insisted that the film is squeaky clean and has no such scene which might make it unfit for family viewing. "I don't make films which I can't watch with my own family. Look at any of my films so far, they can be seen comfortably without worrying that anything untoward may come on screen," said Bazmee.

"Whatever little intimacy is shown on screen, it is a part of a song and dance sequence. That too is strictly within the boundaries," he added. Comedy continues to be his poison, what with 'Thank You' releasing before 'Ready'. Also, couple of months back Bazmee had another comic release in 'No Problem'. Doesn't the director in him ever crave to make some serious cinema? "Who said comedy isn't serious business? I do my job rather seriously. A film of mine may or may not work but then no one can say that I made a cheap comedy. Also, vulgarity doesn't have any place in my cinema. I don't believe in having any double meaning dialogues in my films," he said.
